Bastion Point - Legal fight to protect wild coastline
On 27 May 2010 the Friends of Mallacoota appeal of the Victorian Planning Minister's EES assessment in relation to the Bastion Point Boat Ramp was dismissed. The Environment Defenders Office continues to advise the Friends in relation to protecting the Mallacoota coast.
Desalination - Buried documents sought in FOI appeal
This appeal considered whether documents relating to the Victorian Government's analysis, valuation and allocation of risk and costs for the desalination plant were exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) (“FOI Act”).
