‘Incorporated documents’ are those included in the list of incorporated documents in the Schedule to Provision 81 of every planning scheme. Under the Victorian Planning Provisions, the list of incorporated documents becomes a statutory part of the planning scheme. A planning authority can decide whether a document is to be an incorporated document or merely a reference document.

Both incorporated documents and reference documents listed in the scheme are worth searching for useful material for submissions on planning permits and other applications.
